Full Description

Liberty Safe's USA 30 is a great “starter” safe for people who want more security and fire protection than the Centurion line but still look for a great price and manageable overall size and weight.

The USA 30 comes standard with chrome hardware (including a 3-three spoke handle), the versatile dual-flex, fully upholstered shelving system, and a factory-installed interior door panel for extra storage options. Liberty’s USA 30 also boasts a level 3 security rating, a UL-listed safe body, a UL-listed top-lit digital SecuRam lock, 3 hardened steel drill-resistant lockplates, thicker hardened military-type locking bars, our proven re-locker mechanism that locks the safe down in the event of attempted brute force entry, and a full 60 minutes of fire protection at 1200°, including the Palusol heat-activated expanding door seal.

Liberty’s USA safes can take pretty much anything you can throw at them, and to prove it we dropped a 1,000-lb block of concrete on our safe (and on a competitor’s safe) from 100 feet to see if we could break them open. Have a look at the video below to see the results (hint: bet on the Liberty safe!).

Missed by 2 inches

Sturdy safe, well made. Could be improved if the divider was 2 inches taller. 28-30” barrels would fit better. As is you can raise the top shelf so it doesn’t rest on the divider. This can give you the height you need, but exposes the particle board on the divider and unfinished fitting groove on bottom of shelf. Also reduces stability of top shelf. Correct that detail and it’s a better design.

burst pipe spray has nothing on this safe

I just had a pipe burst last night in the room my safe was in. After all the confusion of stopping the water and getting it fixed, I opened my safe to find not a drop of water on the inside. To be clear, the water level never got above the bottom of the door, but the pipe was covering the outside of the safe with water. I had been in tears earlier worrying about my collection, but this safe protected my guns, documents, and heirlooms. If you're looking for a permanent part of your home and can afford it, there's no other safe I'd trust anymore. I've had it for four years now, and I've never had a problem with it in any other way. The door works well and swings easily. Even with a bunch of water on it, all the electronics worked. The seal is not waterproof but seems much tighter than I thought.

Great Safe

This is the perfect safe for me. It’s a perfect size and all of my personal belongings and ammo fit inside it as well as my boom sticks. Great purchase and Liberty strikes again with great customer service!

Started out good

I cant say anything about its abilities to withstand a fire or the companies promise to replace it if it does, however after owning it for a few years there are some flaws. The door organizer is sagging and the handguns droop which makes it tricky to close. The paint on the outside held up fine until the first time something hit it and it scratched rather easy. I admitted i am being critical but at this price point i feel its warranted. I bought this as a legacy piece and if this is what its like after 2 years I may have made a bad choice.

Sorry to hear about your experience with your safe. Please reach out to our customer support.

Poor lock adjustment and poor handling

Love the safe but there was slight damage at the store. We looked over several models and they all had handling damage so we chose the one with the least amount. It still had what appears to be a dull section of paint as well. Looks like something came in contact with the safe after paint
Aldo the adjustment for the locking bars was kind of hokey. A cheap piece of plastic with 2 set screws. Not impressed. Overall it's a good safe
