The Liberty USA 36 gun safe is a feature-rich entry-level safe, and it might just be the “goldilocks” choice for first-time safe buyers. Not too small to be useful, and not too big to be manageable or affordable. Featuring 60 minutes of certified fire protection at 1200° and a level 3 security rating, the USA 36 can help you rest easy knowing your valuables and firearms are always protected.

The USA 36 comes standard with chrome hardware (including a 3-three spoke handle), the versatile dual-flex, fully upholstered shelving system, and a factory-installed interior door panel for extra storage options. Liberty’s USA 36 also boasts a UL-listed safe body, a UL-listed top-lit digital SecuRam lock, 3 hardened steel drill-resistant lockplates, thicker hardened military-type locking bars, and our proven re-locker mechanism that locks the safe down in the event of attempted brute force entry. The USA 36 features a tough, textured, corrosion- and fingerprint-resistant black finish with a gray fabric interior.

Liberty’s USA safes can take pretty much anything you can throw at them, and to prove it we dropped a 1,000-lb block of concrete on our safe (and on a competitor’s safe) from 100 feet to see if we could break them open. I had my Liberty USA 36 safe delivered and setup from Dungarees today. I am so pleased with the professional service and delivery I received from Dungarees! I did a lot of research on safes and decided on Liberty for a variety of reasons. Based on my research I personally think they are the best value in safes. Everything from the build quality to the warrantee I was very impressed. I would absolutely recommend a Liberty safe to anyone who is in the market for a quality safe!

I chose to wait the "20 weeks" the local safe place said it would take to build, they tried to pressure me into getting their brand safe which is not made in the USA. My safe is higher quality than my peasant "gun collection".

Great safe, but a loose fitting door

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, delivery, and experience! I've spent a lot of time doing research and I'd highly recommend this. My only complaint is that the door is loose.. something QA should have noticed. The delivery guy tried adjusting it (and was very helpful) but it still does not stay tight and flush in the safe when locked. Every time you press a number on the pad, it goes inwards / outwards.. pretty annoying but not the end of the world. That's the reason for my 4 stars, otherwise it would be 5 stars. Great job Liberty Safe, I just wish my door had a better fit!

Locked out

I was locked out of my safe for the first 6ish weeks of owning it. The dealer kept telling me they were trying to get a warranty lock. Finally I contacted liberty directly about a warranty and I got a new lock in about a week. After installing new lock I was still locked out. Still trying to figure out the solution.

Before purchasing my Liberty safe I did a tremendous amount of research on Gun safes. I looked at numerous safes online and compared them to each other. The Liberty safe is one safe that you can't go wrong with.
